Victory At Sea

A vicious little gale whips through town today, toppling trees and mussing up hair. The wind is a solid force on the Oceanside Pier, blowing steadily at 35 mph with higher gusts. It looks like the entire ocean is flowing south. Sand blows thickly down the beaches. Everything is accompanied by a steady roar, grit in your teeth, and tears in your eyes.

After I pick the girls up from YMCA camp, we climb to the top of the bluff at Ponto to experience the elements. The girls are impressed!
