The View From The 22nd Floor

Another and another long day at the reeeally big shoo.

It will be so nice to sit behind my desk tomorrow and get people paid and fill out some expense reports and work on the reviews for my staff. It's been since January 5 since I've been in the office and that seems like months ago.

But right now I'm enjoying the afternoon, finally off my feet. My bare feet are up on the window of my room, and my room looks out over the Janet Terminal at McCarren Int'l in Vegas. This is where the work force at Area 51 and Area 52 (Tonapah Test Range) are flown to and from work every day and night on those unmarked (no tail numbers) 737's.

Perimeter fencing surrounds the unmarked terminal and parking lot and is patrolled by the same 'camo dudes' that provide security at Groom Lake. There are anywhere from 10 to 20 flights a day and the planes stay out at Groom Lake until the workers are allowed to return home.

I can't see any of them UFOs thingies from here though. (That will probably come later at the 686 party tonight.)
