Father Daughter Dance
Tonight was my fourth father-daughter dance at Magnolia Elementary School. It's always a good time, and the girls get a big kick out of dressing up. That was particularly true this time around since the theme was "going Hollywood." There was a red carpet at the entrance and someone (the school most likely) rented a big limo and had it parked outside. Hannah borrowed a dress from Summer and looked very cute. Even better, Sydney found a good-looking dress at a consignment store for only fifteen dollars. She also looked fantastic.
We all had a good time and the DJ played a solid selection of music. Must be some kind of record, I danced on two consecutive Fridays. I better be careful or it will become a habit.
Like always, the night wraps up at Starbucks downtown, where the female baristas line up and compliment the girls on their outfits and generally make a fuss.

My Hollywood Girls (The makeup is a very special -- read "don't get use to it" -- treat).

The starlets with their bouncer for the night.

Hannah was pretty hyped to get there. We ended up being among the first to arrive, but ended up staying more than two hours -- a record.

No, Sydney doesn't like the soundtrack from High School Musical anymore.
