Mother's Day

Christy is an awesome mom and deserves an extra special day, and the girls and I try to do our best to make her know how special she is. We have fun with the whole breakfast in bed thing, and it's great to bounce around as a family eating cinnamon rolls and drinking orange juice (or coffee in my case).

In terms of gifts, all Christy really wanted were tickets to the June 10 94.9 FM Independence Jam concert, which features Interpol, Spoon, Kings of Leon and more. We're both super psyched to see Interpol live, especially with a new album finally arriving soon. So getting her tickets was a no-brainer (along with a dozen roses). The girls, of course, had super-special gifts they had made as well -- along with some awesome cards.
