Father Daughter Dance
Magnolia Elementary School had its annual father-daughter dance tonight and for the fifth year running I was there and having a good time. The theme this year was Hawaiian Luau, which made it easy. (Last year's Hollywood theme was harder for a non-suit-wearing guy like me to pull off.) I danced quite a bit with Hannah, which was awesome, and watched with pride as Sydney danced the Chicken Dance and Macarena.
After about an hour and a half, my favorite part of the evening arrived: heading downtown to Starbucks for coffee and hot chocolate with the girls. As is typical (that's why it's fun), we drew lots of questions about what we were doing and why we were dressed up.
