Surf Summit 11
I've been lagging on the posts again, but the travel schedule and lousy Internet connection in Cabo made it hard to keep up. Now I've finally recovered from Surf Summit 11, undug my desk, and ploughed through my e-mail. It's high time to share some photos of my time down in the land of sunny, blue olas.
These are just a tiny fraction of the shots I took, click here if you want to see some of the people photos (I'm really quite proud of them). But here are a few scenics and family photos from after the Summit

San Jose Del Cabo -- the more soulful, less-touristy sister city to Cabo San Lucas.

The bean Late lunch or early dinner at Tropicana in San Jose Del Cabo.
Under the palapa at Nine Palms.
Rounding the bend and Nine Palm comes into view: six foot and uncrowded.
East Cape mysto spot that just could be good on occasion.
Back at the Sherton and the full moon lights up the new swell lines.
The bean, loving it. This was just after we saw a huge squid that shot ink at us.
Fun waves at Nine Palms -- there were a few more serious bombs as well.

Dinner at Morgan's in San Jose Del Cabo, one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
