Blank Page Syndrome
After a full day of copy editing the January Issue (which is like a double issue), I sit here with blank page syndrome, not sure of what to say.
Let's see what percolates through...
Downstairs Christy is rocking out to the new TV On The Radio CD. She's clearly the true rocker of the family. Next Friday we're going to see Pete Yorn, Modest Mouse, and The Shins (oh yeah!) at the Rimac Arena at UCSD. I'm pretty psyched. The new single from The Shins, Phantom Limb, is currently in heavy rotation on my iPod, along with the latest Years Around The Sun single and The Album Leaf. The Information, Beck's new CD, is great too.
Have you seen the new Dave Stewart show on HBO? His first interview was with Bono and the Edge of U2 and it was incredible. Makes you remember just what a great band they are and how much some of their songs still mean to me.
