Bodies In Rest and Motion
Running one of the top 50 trade shows in America isn't easy. It's a five-day marathon of sixteen-hour work days filled with talking, barking feet, talking, walkie talkie static, talking, loud noises and general over stimulation, and not enough sleep. Then add in the literally hundreds of small and large solutions the staff has to come up with each day and it becomes an exciting-yet-exhausting slog.
So when 5:00 p.m. Sunday arrives and the final announcement closing the show is made, most of the staff slowly coasts to a stop in the show office upstairs. Like marathon runners finally crossing the finish line, it's all there written on their faces: exhaustion, satisfaction, and relief.
