Leukerbad
After Hannah kicked me in the shins (long story) we caught the train out of Zermatt and then drove down the Valais to the Leukerbad turnoff. Motivation was pretty low today, but we managed a short hike to the gorge and carefully traversed our way down the metal walkways. Afterwards the girls and I headed over to the Burger Bad for some crazy "Welville" spa treatments. Fortunately, the water slides spoke a language we all could understand.

The view from the toilet of our room at the petite hotel in Zermatt. No, really...

Morning in Zermatt.

Uptrail in Leukerbad.

The gorge.

Way more scary than it looks. Hannah was pretty much freaking out. This is perched right above the waterfall. It's steep and slippery and the waterfall is loud. Basically something you'd never see in California because of liability laws.

The walls of Leukerbad with the Swiss flag flying high.

Fun at the Burger Bad.

The view straight ahead out of our hotel window.

The view to the left. This was the night of the World Cup finals and the town erupted when Spain scored.

The view to the right.
